We will continue to support the Masonic-Eastern Star Home for Children in Fremont – initial funds to purchase a large screen HDTV. All funds over the cost of the TV will go to the “Star Movie Theater”, a special project to have a movie theater in the basement of the Education Center.

We will also continue to support the Masonic Home in Plattsmouth – tables and chairs for the new dining room.

The Youth Groups – monetary support as well as attendance at their meetings and activities; and

ESTARL – with monetary support.

  SPECIAL PROJECT:

Programs and projects of the Salvation Army – proceeds from merchandise sold at the sales table and from donations from the members will be given to “fill the kettle”, the most recognized fund raiser for the Salvation Army.

The membership will be able to “give a buck and get a bell” to bring with them to Grand Chapter in May 2010 where they can be a member of Nebraska’s Largest Bell Choir and have an opportunity to MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE as we join in the ringing of the bells. For a “buck a bell” you can be a member of Billie and Bruce’s bell choir.

Chapters will be asked to support some of the projects of the Salvation Army. Additional information will be provided by the Co-Chairpersons of this special project, Laurel Wolfe and Kathy Voshell.

We will again ask Chapters and individuals to donate theme baskets for a silent auction at Grand Chapter in May, 2010.
